Through a grant from the Regional Foundation, we created an in-depth program called Coatesville Growing Greater to strengthen our residential neighborhoods, empowering city residents to take ownership of their neighborhoods and their broader community. Stabilizing neighborhoods and supporting residents is critical to ensure that all of Coatesville grows as the City’s economy improves.
Our long-range strategy includes resident engagement programs, improving parks and public spaces, public safety efforts, job creation and workforce development strategies, as well as home ownership and enhanced youth programming.
This initiative began in 2018 with a resident satisfaction survey. Now in its fifth year, we re-polled the residents of Coatesville to evaluate progress. We were excited to see a double-digit percentage increase in resident satisfaction. You can view the results of the survey here.
